Emy Mercury is a Dutch-based, Nigerian born and Ghanaian raised singer and songwriter whose projects reflect a profound rediscovery of his passion for music-making. Without a doubt, he's taken the longer route than most to find his sound and pick his moment. From pursuing and switching careers as a TV host to Logistics & Supply chain management, Emy stayed connected with his creative side by consistently writing new music, building connections with producers and engineers and recording self demos and occasionally releasing original songs independently. He created the soundtrack for entertainment TV show called 'Smash TV' on Ghanaian network Metro TV in Accra, Ghana where he was worked as a presenter. In collaboration with soulful singer Bino and hit-making producer DatBeatGod, Emy recorded 'Medo Magic' - the official soundtrack for the media campaign and a product brand launch of Medo Perfumes for Ghanaian cosmetics company, Ghandour Cosmetics Ltd. Continuously, he searches to expand his global and sonic perception as he now resides in Tilburg, Netherlands. He embraces the variety of culture, history and music genres since moving far from home. Although, his music origins are rooted in what many generally refer to as 'Afrobeats', he continues to find his true sound with projects that allow the expression of his evolving creative journey.
